Meet Kelsey

Hello! My name is Kelsey. I am 30 years old and live in Minnesota. My husband and I have one beautiful daughter. We are a military family, my husband is in the Army. So far we have lived in Louisiana, Alaska, and now we're back home while he does three years of recruiting.

I started crafting when my daughter was born. I had a friend introduce me to bow making, and because I've always had a creative side of me, I fell in love. It took me about two years to really perfect my hair bows. And then I had an epiphany, everyone makes hair bows! So I decided I needed to find something that I would enjoy crafting and would sell. So I started adding ribbon pacifier clips into the mix. Christmas of 2009 I received a sewing machine from my mother-in-law. I had never sewed in my life, so this was a new experience for me. I self taught myself how to use it, and quickly started producing small items. Our family then had to uproot ourselves from Alaska and relocate to Minnesota. When I reopened my stores in Minnesota, I had come to a decision. I was going to start shying away from hair bows and focus on a new venture: fabric pacifier clips. Within the first month of my new Etsy shop opening, I had more sales in week than I had in a month in my hair bow shop. I knew that I had found my calling!

Pacifier clips allow me to hoard fabric without feeling guilty, and craft adorable must-have items for the frazzled mom and paci tossing baby. My checkbook covers, passport covers, and business card holders are just an extra way for me to make adorable items that can be used by everyone. My badge reels are a way for people to add a little extra zing, instead of wearing the plain ones they are given their first day of work.

The positive feedback and return customers are the reason I love what I do. I love it when someone sends me a message letting me know how much they love my products. It warms me inside to know I am able to share my creativeness with other people and that they enjoy it.
Thank you for supporting me in my new adventure!
