I added some links on the left side that I think you should check out.

The first one is for a site called Own the Hour. It's an Etsy shop promotion tool. You can buy an advertising spot for only $.50 and it's up for one hour. We really need to get the word out about this because I think this is a great way to not only promote our shops, but Etsy in general. And it's cheap! Go to www.ownthehour.com to check it out!

Unlike PayPal, they don't take out fees for receiving money, which is nice. If you have a website and sell things off of there, it also has buttons you can put near your merchandise so they can just buy it from there! Isn't that neato?

I've been working on some new stuff. Well, not really working on...But I ordered some crochet headbands for my craft show and got them in the mail today! I posted a couple on Etsy, but I just wanted to show you guys how cute they are with a bow! The back of my daughter's head is shaped like mine, so we don't wear headbands very well, but they stayed in place long enough for me to get a couple of example pictures.

Black Friday

So...My sale didn't go so well today. I didn't sell a DANG thing. Because of this, I have extended my sale until Monday night. Apparently, Monday is known as "Cyber Monday" so that's why I'm prolonging the sale.

I did buy a new splat mat from JazzyJemz. These are GREAT for babies and toddler. They wipe off easily, keep you from vacuuming after every meal and keep stains off of the carpet! You should go check her store out, she has some REALLY amazing products!

This next week I'm really going to work on building my inventory for the craft show next weekend. However, I have been finding a lot of craft shows going on next weekend, so hopefully there will be a good turn out at the one I'll be at. Wish me luck! We need spending money for Christmas! Haha.

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! My husband came home yesterday from NTC, so we get to spend Thanksgiving as a family.

I've been working on a lot of new stuff. I have a craft show on December 6th, so I have had to restock my inventory. This one is going to be at a mall, so there will be a lot of foot traffic. I'm hoping to make enough money for Christmas. I am doing this craft show with my regular partner in crime Jen (JazzyJemz: www.jazzyjemz.etsy.com). We bought two booths so we have a lot of room.

Here are some pictures of new things I've been making. The pink beanie with brown and pink flower sold out fast. I only had it listed for a couple of days and it sold. Then I got a message from a buy asking if I could duplicate it because she had wanted to buy it, but it sold before she bought it. So I remade the bow and she snatched it right up!



I was also able to braid Brooke's hair into pigtails, and then I added some bow, and the result was absolutely adorable!

I haven't been doing a lot of crafting lately. It' hard to get things done with you don't have a lot of free time. I've been so busy with school and Brooke, it leaves little time to get any bows done.

But now I have a reason to! My friend Jenn and I are going to do another craft show together. We're doing one in Eagle River and I think it will be pretty big. I have some inventory left over from the Rich one, but I have to make up some more small pinwheel bows, ladybugs, dragonflies, butterflies and Christmas Trees! I have all of Thanksgiving break to work on them, I think I may work on some this weekend as well. I ordered a whole bunch of new 7/8 inch ribbon so I hope they send that soon. I know it's getting close to the holidays so shipping my be a little delayed. I think I'm going to work up some pacifier clips as well, so I will have bows, beanie caps, and pacifier clips. I hope I can make a killing because then Christmas shopping will be a lot easier. :)

I started making pacifier clips. It took me a while to get the hang of the snaps, but I figured out a method that works. They are turning out really cute. I have some listed on Etsy, but I think I may send a bunch down to the boutique in Louisiana.




I also make an adorable Turkey clip now! Brooke will be wearing this on Thanksgiving. They sold out at my craft show so they were very popular. I have him listed on Etsy as well.



I found some adorable ribbon at JoAnn for a dollar a piece, so I had to pick a few spools up and make some simple clips with them. They turned out SUPER cute. They too are listed on Etsy.


And then I just made another stacked pinwheel bow for the heck of it. I like pink so I thought this turned out really cute. This one is listed on Etsy as well.
